According to the Rules for Admission to Moscow State University, the following persons are eliminated from the competition:

• persons who took the documents after the completion of the acceptance of documents;

• persons who did not appear without good reason at the entrance examinations conducted by Moscow State University (additional entrance examinations conducted by Moscow State University; general educational entrance examinations conducted by Moscow State University for certain categories of applicants) at the scheduled time;

• persons who received a result below the minimum number of points in the entrance examination;

• persons who have not submitted a statement of consent to enrollment before the deadline and / or have submitted an incomplete set of documents required for enrollment.

Persons who have not passed the entrance examination conducted by Moscow State University for a good reason (illness or other documented circumstances) are allowed to pass the specified examination in another group or on a reserve day in accordance with the approved schedule of entrance examinations.

Moscow State University provides scholarships to students studying on a budgetary basis. MSU does not provide scholarships to students studying on a contractual basis.

Transfer to the Lomonosov Moscow State University from other universities is carried out on the basis of the Procedure for the transfer of students from other organizations carrying out educational activities to the Lomonosov Moscow State University for training in educational programs of higher education. The number of vacancies for translation is published (if any) on the page of the corresponding educational program. The deadlines for accepting documents for transfer to Moscow State University are established in accordance with the Rules for Admission to Moscow State University in 2025. Estimated expenses for studying and living in Moscow:

• A preparatory course in the Russian language and major subjects at the Institute of Russian Language and Culture from September 1 to June 30 (for training in programs implemented in Russian, if you do not speak Russian to the extent necessary to study at a degree program) - $ 6,000;

• Recognition of education as meeting the requirements for admission to Moscow University - free of charge, subject to submitting an application through the online platform of Moscow State University;
