The purpose of Master's program "Geological-Geophysical Exploration and Modelling of Hydrocarbon Fields" is to educate specialists in the field of modern technologies of geological and reservoir modelling, field development, advanced scientific methods of seismic exploration, well logging and enhanced oil recovery. In addition, special attention is paid to computer technologies for construction of 3D geological and geophysical models of geological environment and 4D modelling of processes in this environment, as well as the specifics of their application to practical geological problems.

Education is carried out in cooperation with the Faculties of Geology, Chemistry, Economics and the School of Public Administration and Management of Lomonosov Moscow State University. The Graduate School of Innovative Business adopts an interdisciplinary approach. Therefore, students have an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge by taking courses of the Master's program. Open lectures are given by the acknowledged experts of oil and service companies of the Russian Federation, advisers and lecturers of the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers.
