Career path of foreign graduates of Moscow State University

"I came from China and studied for my Master's degree from 2017 to 2019. Now I work in China as a Russian language teacher and translator. At the School of Translation and Interpretation, I not only received the necessary knowledge, but also significantly broadened my horizons.
In the classroom, I understood what linguistics is, how translation helps a person and society, why rhetoric is needed. In the learning process, the teachers did their best to combine theory and practice. It is this valuable knowledge that has shaped my professionalism and always helps me a lot when I work as a translator at exhibitions and as a teacher at school."

“I confess that studying at the Faculty of Materials Science was not easy, but very interesting. Most of the lectures I attended I chose based on my personal preference. This is very convenient when you choose courses that are close to the topic of your scientific work. With regard to research work, the range of topics proposed is very wide. Materials Science students are accepted by many research groups. After reviewing their work, you can choose the one that interests you. The biggest advantage of studying at the Faculty of Materials Science is a semester-long instrumental practical seminar, where you learn how to conduct a scientific work using a certain research instrument."

In 2016 and 2018, I, together with my supervisor, participated in the excavation of the Newly Discovered Barrow of the Scythian period, and it was a wonderful experience.

During my postgraduate studies at Moscow State University, I passed the exam for the curator of the National Museum of Korea, where I now work. In addition, since 2020, I have been a member of the International Exchange Commission of the Korea Archaeological Society. I remember with warmth my postgraduate studies at Moscow State University. In the future, I want to promote and facilitate archaeological exchanges between Korea and Russia."
