I am studying at Humboldt University of Berlin (Germany), where I study computer science and Russian language. Currently I am doing an internship at Lomonosov Moscow State University at the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics (VMK). I haven't chosen Moscow to study abroad by chance. I have a special interest in Russia, Russian culture and science. Many courses on VMK website caught my attention. The major reason behind choosing this faculty is high-quality mathematics education: here you are taught to create algorithms and to programme in different languages. The aim of my internship was to get an insight into student life in Moscow, understand deeper Russian culture and improve my language skills, especially, scientific and technical language skills. Due to the pandemic situation in the country and around the globe, distance learning was introduced. MSU professors managed to quickly find an alternative format for giving classes and tests. Now all of us have an opportunity to try new learning formats, come up with brand-new schemes, which will be used for learning in the future!
